Cristina was abandoned at birth at the state children’s hospital, and lived the first year and a half of her life there. Cristina has PKU and when she came to live at Safe Homes she was unable to sit up or even hold her head up. She suffered from daily convulsions, sweating and found it difficult to breath.

With help from a U.K charity we are now able to bring Cristina medication that isn’t available in Romania. Cristina’s health has improved immensely, she can now run around with her brothers and sister’s, and she no longer suffers from convulsions or any other ill health. Cristina is a very happy and loving little girl and it is a pleasure and honour to have her in our care.
